La Maison Q.J. Bünzel GmbH, Rheinstraße 10, 41460 Neuss, Germany
Phone: +49 176 798 55130 · E-mail: q@lamaisonqjbunzel.com
Represented by the managing directors Jörg C. Bünzel and Quynh Bünzel.
This policy applies to lamaisonqjbunzel.com/ and to advisory.lamaisonqjbunzel.com, gms.lamaisonqjbunzel.com, journeys.lamaisonqjbunzel.com and hospitality.lamaisonqjbunzel.com. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer (Art. 37 GDPR, Section 38 BDSG).
2. In short
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit our websites, for what purpose, on which legal basis, and which rights you have. Our websites run without tracking cookies, advertising networks or embedded third-party services. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
3. Hosting
The websites are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (EU). The server is located in Germany. Hostinger processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, fast and reliable provision of the websites.
4. Server log files
With every visit the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume, browser type and version, operating system and the referring page. This data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless it is needed longer to investigate an attack.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (security of operations, error analysis).
5. Cookies and access to your device
On all our sites (main site, Hospitality, Advisory, German Medical Services, Journeys) exactly one cookie is set: pll_language stores your language choice (German or English) for one year so that you see the site in your language on your next visit. This cookie is technically necessary for the service you requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and does not require consent. It contains no personal data. No other cookies, tracking pixels or similar technologies are used.
6. Cookieless statistics
We count page views with a statistics function that runs on our own server (Koko Analytics, cookie function disabled). No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored and no data is transferred to third parties. Only the page requested, the time and the referring page are recorded, without any link to you as a person.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to know which pages are read in order to improve the site.
7. Contact and enquiry forms
Each of our sites has its own enquiry form: “Write to Us” (main site), “Host Your Gathering” (Hospitality), “Discuss a Mandate” (Advisory), “Request an Invitation” (Journeys) and “Discuss a Project” (German Medical Services). When you write to us through one of them, we process the details you enter, i.e. your name, e-mail address and message and, depending on the form, phone number, position, organisation, country, type and date of gathering, number of guests, area of interest, type and stage of project, together with the date and time of the enquiry, in order to answer you. You receive an automatic copy of your enquiry at the e-mail address you gave. The message is delivered to q@lamaisonqjbunzel.com and stored in our mailbox.
Via the form “Be the First to Know” on the Q.Pâtisserie page you can register to be informed about the opening (name, e-mail address, optionally phone number, interests, preferred language, message). Section 8 applies accordingly.
To protect against automated submissions, the forms use an invisible check field (honeypot); no third-party captcha service is loaded.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering general enquiries).
Retention: We delete enquiries once they have been answered in full and no contract results, at the latest after twelve months. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law apply (six or eight years, Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO).
Delivery: Form messages and confirmations are sent via the mail server of our e-mail provider, STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, which processes the message and sender address on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
8. Newsletter (“Letters from La Maison”)
All La Maison sites share one subscriber list. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address. After signing up you receive an e-mail with a confirmation link (double opt-in). Your subscription only takes effect once you click this link. We log the sign-up and the confirmation with time and IP address in order to be able to prove your consent. The list is kept in our own WordPress system on our server (MailPoet); newsletters are sent via the mail server of our provider STRATO (section 7). Measurement of whether newsletters are opened or links clicked is switched off.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the end of every issue or by e-mail to q@lamaisonqjbunzel.com. The lawfulness of processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). Retention: until you withdraw consent; proof of consent is kept for three years after withdrawal (Art. 7 (1) GDPR, Section 195 BGB).
9. Downloads (price lists, brochures)
PDF files such as price lists or brochures are stored on our own server. Downloading them only generates the server log data described in section 4. No e-mail address is requested.
10. Fonts, images and film
All fonts are stored on our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider is established. Images and the films on the Hospitality site are likewise delivered from our server, not from YouTube, Vimeo or any other service.
11. Links to social networks and maps
The footers contain plain links to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and a link “Plan your route” to Google Maps. These are ordinary links, not embedded plugins or maps. No data is transferred to these services when you visit our sites. Only when you follow a link do the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.
12. Your rights
With regard to your personal data you have the following rights against us:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
Please contact q@lamaisonqjbunzel.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
13. Security, disclosure, changes
The connection between your browser and our server is encrypted with TLS (shown by the padlock in the address bar). We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to the service providers named in this policy who work on our behalf, or where we are legally obliged to do so. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place. We will update this policy when the websites or the legal situation change; the version published here applies.
