La Maison Q.J. Bünzel
A boutique cross-border platform connecting Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Cross-border investments and partnerships rarely fail for lack of capital or ambition. They fail when strategy, structure and execution are not aligned — and when decisions are taken without a clear understanding of the markets, institutions and people involved.
La Maison Q.J. Bünzel supports the principals who carry that responsibility: investors, founders, family enterprises, healthcare organizations and institutional partners. We work with them from the first introduction to the investment itself — and remain at their side once it is made.
Our role goes beyond traditional advice.
One platform
One relationship, from first introduction to lasting presence.
Each area serves a distinct purpose. Together they accompany our principals from the first introduction to a market, through decision and execution, to a lasting presence.

The House
Haus Jordans, Neuss.
The home of La Maison is Haus Jordans, a heritage townhouse from around 1800 in the centre of Neuss, between Düsseldorf, Köln and Bonn. Restored by the founders over several years, the house continues a long history of its own — and is today the place where the principals, partners and guests of La Maison are received.

The Founders
The people behind La Maison.
Quynh Bünzel
Co-Founder & Vision Curator
Born in Hanoi and shaped by a life between Asia and Europe, Quynh Bünzel defines the cultural, relational and ethical framework of La Maison. She leads its governance and executive direction and acts as the convener of the platform — selecting the mandates and opportunities it pursues, bringing together the right people, and opening senior-level access across business and institutional circles in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. She personally curates each Journey and each gathering at the house in Neuss, which she and Jörg restored over years, and guides La Maison’s approach to sustainable luxury. She works in Vietnamese, German and English.
Jörg C. Bünzel
Co-Founder & Senior Strategy Advisor
More than twenty-five years of international leadership across Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Asia. He advises principals, boards, developers and government-linked entities on long-term positioning, governance and strategic decisions, including Vision 2030 projects such as NEOM, the Red Sea Project and Amaala. Senior advisor to the Dubai Health Authority, recognized by the Government of Dubai in 2025 for his contribution to healthcare governance and policy, and formerly a senior executive at International SOS. Within La Maison, he leads the strategic and healthcare mandates, hosts the Journeys to the Middle East, and opens senior relationships across the Gulf.
